Meet Our Team: Andrew Emmitt

Andrew Emmitt joined Crystal Flash in August 2019 as its Director of Business Development. In July 2020, he was promoted to the role of Commercial Sales Manager. The Commercial Sales Division of Crystal Flash provides fuel, propane and lubricants to businesses/farms of all types and sizes. Andrew oversees a team of nine Commercial Account Representatives who cover all of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, the eastern quarter of the Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and the northern regions of Indiana and Ohio.

In 2005, Andrew founded Air-Tite Insulation, LLC, as a single-truck operation. Over time, he grew the company to have a fleet of seven trucks and 26 full-time employees. He closed the business in 2013. After Air-Tite’s closure, Andrew went on to work as an Outside Sales Representative for Carter Lumber and Regional Sales Manager for Atlas Copco. In addition to leading his team at Crystal Flash, Andrew also represents the company as a member/committee member of National Propane Gas Association (NPGA), Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association (MITA) and Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.

Andrew is a deacon at First Reformed Church of Byron Center, an assistant wrestling coach at Byron Center High School and School Board President for NexTech of Grand Rapids. He resides in Byron Center with his wife, Beth, and their three children, Daniel (14), Samuel (13) and Deborah (9). Andrew enjoys supporting his kids, coaching wrestling, camping, and spending time with friends and family. Andrew and Beth are both accomplished runners (from 5Ks to marathons) and enjoy joining friends in road races at many different destinations they visit.
