Crystal Flash supports science education through Curiosity Hour event

Looking for a way to break up the monotony of summer at home? What could be better than an hour of great family time spent conducting free, fun and educational science experiments? Now, how about we throw in some delicious pizza from Amore Trattoria Italiana?!

This Thursday, August 13, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Van Andel Institute for Education will present its annual Curiosity Hour via Zoom.

Follow along with the experiments at home using common household items and supplies. And the best part is you can finish up the hour with an edible science experiment — make your own pizza from Amore in Comstock Park!

Again, this is a free event, but advance registration is required by no later than 5 pm this Monday, August 10.

Visit to register, download the list of experiment supplies, and to learn more.

Crystal Flash is proud to support science education and to be the Presenting Sponsor of Curiosity Hour.
