CF’s Budget Payment Plan removes some of the guesswork and uncertainty by spreading out your propane payments evenly throughout the year. The program provides a level of consistency and predictability from month to month and is a helpful tool when trying to manage your cash flow.

What is a Budget Payment Plan?
Crystal Flash’s budget payment plan is an optional arrangement which allows a customer (you) to make consistent monthly payments over the course of the year. Crystal Flash calculates your payment amount by taking your estimated annual fuel expenditure and dividing the total into 12 equal monthly payments. On the 20th of each month, you make your monthly payment whether you take a delivery of fuel that month or not.
What benefits does a Budget Payment Plan provide me with?
In addition to the security of having reliable, steady payments each month, our Budget Payment Plan is free to enroll in and there are no hidden fees. The plan also provides peace of mind. You’ll never have to worry about the cost of your next delivery, you’ll just pay your scheduled monthly budget payment regardless of the delivery amount. As an added benefit, enrollment in CF’s Budget Payment Plan also includes enrollment into our popular Auto-Fill program. With Auto-Fill, we monitor and fill your propane tank for you, as needed. We’ll keep an eye on things so you don’t run out of fuel, eliminating the worry and extra fees associated with emergency deliveries and run outs.
Who is eligible for a Budget Payment Plan?
All credit approved customers are eligible to participate in the plan, including customers that own their own tank. If you don’t already have established credit terms with Crystal Flash, we’re always happy to assist you with our credit application process to verify eligibility. Customers that are in a rental living arrangement are not typically eligible for participation.
When does the Budget Payment Plan year begin and end?
Crystal Flash Budget Payment Plan begins each year in June and ends in May, which also aligns with our popular Price Protection Program contract period.
What happens if my actual usage is different than what was estimated?
We realize that things change and sometimes estimates don’t accurately reflect what happens in real time, no biggie. Our Team will monitor your ongoing plan payments based on your individual situation, including your current account balance and any expected remaining deliveries. We’re happy to adjust your payments as needed to keep things on track and avoid any surprises at the end of the budget year.
What if my situation is somewhat unique, will you still work with me?

Customers with any size tank or annual usage amount can be on a Budget Payment Plan.
There are no minimum usage requirements to participate in our Budget Payment Plan. However, the use of multiple heating sources can make estimating tank levels a challenge, so adding The Crystal Flash Tank Monitoring System may be necessary so we can watch your propane level remotely. A nominal annual fee may apply in this situation.
We’re happy to offer access to the Budget Payment Plan to owners of seasonal/occasional homes. The Crystal Flash Tank Monitoring System may be necessary because of the challenges inherent in estimating usage at these lower levels. A nominal annual fee may apply in this situation.
