Meet Our Team: Cliff Lipscomb

Cliff Lipscomb joined Crystal Flash in 1999 when the company he founded and ran for 18 years, Lipscomb’s Oil, was acquired by Crystal Flash. After spending 25 years making fuel deliveries, he transitioned into a role in Commercial/Agricultural sales, and 2021 marks 40 years for him in the fuel industry.

When it comes to living on a farm, which is something he has done his entire life, Cliff has pretty much done it all. In the 1970s, he could be found milking 300+ cows. The 1980s had him feeding pigs, a lot of them, over 2,500 a year. These days you can find him raising feeder Holstein calves and baling acres and acres of straw.

Well-known in the Michigan agricultural community, Cliff has held numerous leadership roles with Michigan Farm Bureau over the years, including representing District 1 on the Policy Development Committee, a role as County Farm Bureau Vice President and more. He also owned a feed business for over 27 years.

On a personal note, this year marks 45 years of marriage for Cliff and his wife, Diane. The Lipscombs are quite proud of their four children and 10 grandchildren. Cliff is also very involved in his church, having attended Prairie Baptist Church for 46 years, teaching Junior Church for 36 years and serving as a church board member for 30 years. He also enjoys teaching adult Sunday School classes.

Connect with Cliff at 269-209-1083 or if you believe that he or any other of the employee-owners of Crystal Flash could be of service.
