Crystal Flash Appoints David Scigliano As CEO

Crystal Flash™ has appointed David Scigliano as its new chief executive officer.

In his new role, Scigliano will guide the day-to-day operations of the Grand Rapids-based energy distribution company, which has more than 230 employees in 16 locations. Specifically, he will be responsible for ensuring the company reaches its financial goals and continued execution of its strategic plan.

Scigliano will continue to work closely with Tom Fehsenfeld, third-generation leader of the family-owned business who relinquishing his responsibilities as CEO in order to focus his energies exclusively on the strategic direction of the company. Fehsenfeld will retain the title of president and continue to be involved in the company’s ongoing search for merger and acquisition candidates.

Over the past two years, Crystal Flash has acquired six companies across the Lower Peninsula, expanding its Michigan footprint and enhancing the breadth of products and services it offers to customers.

Scigliano joined Crystal Flash in 1989 as vice president. Over the next 25 years, he assumed positions of increasing authority, most recently serving as chief operating officer and vice president of supply since 2009.
